Qoolize sells internet connectivity to operators, managed service providers, and value-added resellers. Researching options and sourcing quotes remained highly manual, while customers expected faster and more transparent answers.
Qoolize wanted a differentiated connectivity environment that could present current supplier options, support self-service, and manage more of the lifecycle without requiring the company to build every software foundation internally.
Qoolize ruled out an internal build because it would have cost more and delayed market entry. Trunkstar already had a modular connectivity lifecycle engine and telecom implementation experience that could be configured around the Sphera proposition.
The collaboration combined Qoolize's view of the customer journey and global internet proposition with Trunkstar's sourcing, quoting, supplier-data, workflow, and white-label capabilities.
Qoolize reports that the joint team developed the initial environment within six months. Supplier information arriving through APIs, spreadsheets, and portal workflows was standardized for use in a consistent interface.
Sphera lets users enter a location, see relevant internet service providers, review pricing, and begin the provisioning journey. Ordering and delivery visibility extend the experience beyond search and comparison.

The environment brings API, spreadsheet, and portal-derived inputs into a more consistent model.
Search and comparison connect with quoting, ordering, delivery, and management steps.
At launch, Sphera integrated more than 350 last-mile providers and APIs and enabled quoting and ordering across more than 75 countries on five continents.
The platform standardized ISP data across more than 100 countries during its initial development and later expanded ISP sourcing support to more than 120 countries.
The Sphera story is a practical build-versus-configure example. Qoolize retained control of the proposition, customer journey, provider relationships, and roadmap while using Trunkstar to accelerate the repeated software foundations behind connectivity management.
For other providers, the relevant question is not whether to copy Sphera. It is which sourcing, quoting, ordering, integration, and presentation capabilities should be configured around their own business model.
